Dr. Sulaimon Adigun Muse, the Head of Department of Political Science, joined the service of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) in April, 2004 as an Assistant Lecturer. Dr. Muse, bagged his bachelor degree (B.SC) in Political Science from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) in 1997, he did his compulsory one year service in Edo State, Ogbonna Community, Etsako Central under the NYSC scheme and completed in 1998. After completing the one year service, he got admitted at the University of Lagos and was awarded his Masters degree (M.SC) in Political Science in 2000 and completed the programme in 2002, under the tutelage of Professor Solomon Akinboye. He later proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU) and bagged his PGDE in 2006, under the tutelage Professor M.O. Arikewuyo. In the year, 2013, Dr. Sulaimon Muse, an indigene of Lagos State, proceeded to the University of Kwazulu-Natal (UKZN), Durban in South Africa for his PhD in Political Science, which was completed in 2017. Dr. Muse, is currently a Principal Lecturer in the Department of Political Science, Michael Otedola College of Primary Education. Dr. Muse has more than nineteen (19) years of experience in classroom teaching. His areas of interest are in Political Science, education and entrepreneurship. His core competencies are in the area of comparative analysis, international relations, public policy, elections and good governance, citizenship participation and local governance. He has published in many reputable journals in national and international journal outfits. He is a sport enthusiast, he also loves listening to news and engagement on current affairs, and he is happily married and blessed with children.
