      The department was established in 2002/2003 session by Mr. Ekemode then the provost of the college and it was headed by Mr. Jegede, A.A. it took off with forty-five (45) students, it was carved out of school of education in 2013

      BRIEF INFORMATION ON THE DEPARTMENT: the department was established in 2002/2003 session by Mr. Ekemode then the provost of the college and it was headed by Mr. Jegede, A.A. it took off with forty-five (45) students, it was carved out of school of education in 2013 according to national commission for colleges of education (NCCE) minimum standard.
