Michael Otedola College of Primary Education in Affiliation with University of Ibadan marks the formal admission of Three Hundred and Fifty Seven fresh students in a Matriculation Ceremony held at College Multipurpose hall today.
The Provost, Dr Nosiru Olajide Onibon, in his address of welcome, delivered by the Deputy Provost, Mr Joseph Opeolu Ogunniyi, strongly advised the students to shun cultism and other acts of hooliganism, gangsterism, examination malpractice and all forms of criminality, respect constituted authority, and be guided by the established regulations.
According to Dr. Onibon, the College is undergoing tremendous structural and infrastructural developments, courtesy or the Lagos State Government and other stakeholders, such as TETFund.
While commending the maturity for the peace enjoyed in the community, Dr. Onibon further solicits for unflinching support and cooperation to uphold the peaceful Coexistences with the students for the overall development of the immediate communities and the state.
The Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Prof. A. I . Olayinka represented by the Director, Directorate of affiliated Institution Prof. M. K. Akinsola, in his address, felicitate with the college Management on the success recorded so far in terms of the affiliation with the university of Ibadan.
He then implore the students to obey the rules which are in place for their good as the university will not in any way shirk in it's responsibility to produce highly disciplined and responsible students.
According to him, the school is one of the agents of socialization which gives one the most auspicious avenue to inculcate the rightful societal values and norms.
